Xiǎoqǔ 小取
‘Minor Selection’. One of the six dialectical chapters traditionally grouped under the label Mòbiàn. The chapter contains some of the most explicit discussions of argument, inference, and disputation in the Mòzǐ and has therefore occupied a central place in modern studies of Mohist logic. Unlike the Jīng chapters, it presents its ideas in a relatively continuous and discursive form.
